Greenpoint was at the forefront of Australia's co-living revolution, transforming the urban housing landscape with a groundbreaking 4-storey, 33-unit boarding house in Sydney's dynamic Newtown suburb. Our journey began through an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process, positioning us as strategic partners in bringing an innovative housing concept from vision to reality.
Our comprehensive approach spanned the entire project lifecycle, from initial design development through to full construction. The Newtown project represents a bold reimagining of urban living, featuring 33 custom-designed micro living spaces that redefine residential efficiency and community connection. Each meticulously crafted apartment includes a private ensuite, complemented by strategically designed shared community areas that foster interaction and modern urban lifestyle. As UKO pioneered this established European and American housing model in the Australian market, Greenpoint collaborated closely with Construction Assignments to deliver a transformative living environment.
Completed in June 2020, this project stands as a testament to Greenpoint's ability to innovate and execute complex, forward-thinking architectural solutions. By seamlessly blending design excellence, strategic planning, and technical expertise, we've created more than just a building—we've developed a blueprint for the future of urban living. The UKO Newtown project demonstrates our commitment to pushing boundaries, creating spaces that not only meet but anticipate the evolving needs of modern urban dwellers.
